Hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful WSU weekend! Cougar teams excelled once again and we've got some notes and links for you.
WSU volleyball (16-8,10-4 Pac-12) continues to play outstanding ball. Sure, they got off to a slow start by losing the first two sets, but a match is determined by winning three out of five. In other words, it doesn't matter how you start, it's how you finish. The Cougs came close in the first two sets, 21-25 and 23-25, then went on to dominate the Sun Devils in the final three to win the match. Here's a complete breakdown of the stats:

Wazzu soccer continued its dominance of cross-state rival UW. Including their road win in Seattle on Friday night, the Cougs are now 71-15-9 all-time against the Dawgs. The final tally this time around was 4-2 after the teams played to a tie in the first half. For a full rundown of the game, here's your best source:

WSU women's hoops get their season under tomorrow, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, when they host San Jose State at 7pm in Beasley Coliseum. If you want to watch the game on your favorite device, it will be broadcast on Pac-12 Plus which is available to everyone who has a Pac-12 Networks subscription. The game will also be streamed live on WSUCougars.com. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, SJSU only played four games last season, earning a 2-2 mark.
If you think this has been rough going for Cougar football this season, Husky Nation must be put on suicide watch. After losing again this past weekend to Oregon, here's what many Dawg fans are saying:

As if that isn't enough evidence of discontent, here's more. UW made the unusual move of firing their offensive coordinator following their loss to the Ducks.
