Scanning the interwebs for all things WSU, I ran across a heartfelt story crafted by a member of this year's senior class. Kuria Pounds has been putting in work to become a journalist. If nothing else, Kuria has the heart of a Coug. Here's the link to his story:

Most of Cougar Nation didn't watch the men's basketball team completely dominate their cross-border rival, University of Idaho, by a final of 109-61. The broadcast was on ESPN+. Enough said. This guy enjoyed the radio play-by-play call of Matt Chazanow and Craig Ehlo. The game was never in doubt. The only question was what the final score would be. Here's a nice recap turned in by Jeff Nusser:

Here's another recap by Jamey Vinnick that includes some nice notes toward the end of the story and includes the stat sheet:

Wazzu volleyball was in action Thursday night inside Bohler Gym. They defeated #16 Oregon 3-2 in a hotly contested match. Cougs looked to be in the driver's seat at the outset. The first two sets went swiftly to the home team. Proving they are chopped liver, the Ducks stormed back into the match by taking the next two sets. That set up the deciding set which went the way of Wazzu by a score of 15-12. For the stats and more, here's a link for you:

HOUSTON, Texas (November 18, 2021) – Washington State Women's Swimming broke a pair of school records and recorded a Top-10 time during the opening day of the Phill Hansel Invitational hosted by the University of Houston Thursday. The Cougars tallied 261 points to finish day one in fifth out of nine while seven other competing schools received points in diving. WSU does not have diving.
