After a series of trips around the country, we're back to the keyboard sharing the many happenings with Washington State athletics.
First up is what looks to be a terrific hire by AD Pat Chun. Longtime women's golf coach Kelli Kamimura retired from coaching leaving an opening in Pullman. Sofie Aagaard will be the Cougars' next women's head golf coach. Aagaard, who becomes the seventh head coach in Cougar women's golf history, will be introduced to the Pullman community at a welcome reception in the coming weeks. She has a tremendous background having huge success at Cal Poly SLO. Here's the official story from WSU about the hire:

Washington State men's and women's track and field teams get set to will send six individuals to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. (June 8-11).
